My grandmother collected newspapers that contained significant headlines in history. This is a trait I inherited from her. My grandmother gave me newspapers that celebrate man’s landing on the moon, Georgian Jimmy Carter winning the presidency and the Braves coming to Atlanta in the late 1960s.  Other headlines in her group announce Nixon’s resignation and the space shuttle Challenger explosion.

I have newspapers with news of 9/11, Princess Diana’s death, the Atlanta Olympics and the war in Iraq. Other headlines include the Falcon’s Super Bowl season and the Braves’ various trips to the World Series. I also have headlines celebrating state football championships and the devastating 100-year flood.
